Accessing Proteus from Garmin Display (MFD) and Touch Screen Capability

Proteus displays its feed through the video app.

  1. Locating Video App
    1. Press the "Home Icon"
    2. Press the "Vessel" button
    3. Press the "Video" button
  1.  If Proteus does not power on automatically while on Video screen
    1. Press "Options" and confirm that Source is "HDMI - Main Helm" if Proteus is still not on proceed to next steps
    2. Press the “Home Icon”
    3. Scroll to and press “Switching Panel”
    4. Press the “Proteus” Power button and you will see the light on the screen turn green.
  2. If touchscreen is unresponsive
    1. Press "Options" and confirm that "USB Touch Out" reads "On".
Notes
  1. Note: You can use Garmin’s split screen functionality to split Proteus’ feed with any other app on Garmin’s display.
