Simrad NSO Evo3 Compatibility
The Simrad NSO Evo3 series MUST have the following connections slots available to connect with Proteus:
- HDMI IN
- USB
- Ethernet
Proteus requires a connection to the Simrad Ethernet network (any of the three ethernet ports will work) https://www.simrad-yachting.com/simrad/type/accessories/cables-connectors/ethext-6yl/
Simrad uses a special cable for connectivity. In order to use an authorized Simrad cable you will need to purchase 2 RJ45 Ethernet adapters: https://www.simrad-yachting.com/simrad/type/accessories/cables-connectors/cable-rj45m-5f-eth-adptr-nonwaterprf/
The HDMI cable must be "High Speed HDMI" or better We recommend the Official Simrad Waterproof HDMI Cable: https://www.simrad-yachting.com/simrad/type/accessories/cables-connectors/cable-hdmi-waterproof-m-to-std-m-10m/
